The following Terms of Use and Disclaimer apply to the content and use of Earlydoc.

  • We don’t offer medical advice. Medical advice can only be given by a doctor. We only offer personalized information.
  • Earlydoc is still in development. Because of this, and because you might misinterpret questions or answers, the information can be wrong! Always keep that in mind.
  • Don’t do anything that goes against the advice of your doctor.
  • Right now, Earlydoc is based on research and guidelines used in The Netherlands. If you don’t live in The Netherlands, the information Earlydoc gives might not be in line with the regulations, guidelines and research of the country you live in.

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Guidecase BV provides the website Earlydoc.com and all of its related services (collectively: Earlydoc) to you. From the first moment you use Earlydoc you accept these Terms of Use and agree with all conditions that are declared in it. If you don’t want to be bound to these Terms of Use, please leave Earlydoc. These Terms of Use are effective as of 1 May 2012. We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use, partly or entirely, without notice to you. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to know about and familiarize yourself with any modifications we make to these Terms of Use. Your continued use of this site after such modifications will constitute acknowledgement of the modified Terms of Use. You will always find the latest version of the Terms of Use on the website of Earlydoc.

2. Services of Earlydoc

We offer services including, but not limited to, personal medical information based on a series of questions. Earlydoc reserves the sole right to modify or replace its services, partly or entirely, at any time, with or without notice to you. Any new features that augment or enhance the then-current services on this site shall also be subject to these Terms of Use. Earlydoc is not obligated to correct errors on its website or update any information on its website.

3. Third-party Services

Earlydoc may link you to other sites online that may include references to information, documents, software, materials and/or services that are provided by other parties (collectively: Services of Third Parties). Services of Third Parties are not under our control. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the accuracy, possible errors, copyright compliance, or any other aspect of the content of the Services of Third Parties.

4. Use of Earlydoc

ALWAYS CONTACT A DOCTOR WHEN YOU ARE SICK, OR WHEN YOU THINK YOU NEED HELP! IN CASE OF ACUTE MEDICAL PROBLEMS, CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR OR EMERGENCY SERVICES. THE INFORMATION ON EARLYDOC IS BASED ON YOUR ANSWERS AND IS IN NO WAY MEDICAL ADVICE OR A REPLACEMENT OF A CONSULT WITH A DOCTOR OR OTHER MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.

The Content of Earlydoc is hereby defined as: any information, data, software, photos, illustrations, videos, graphics, music, sounds and other materials and services that are offered by Earlydoc, or are located on the servers of Earlydoc.

THE CONTENT OF EARLYDOC DOES NOT SERVE AS MEDICAL ADVICE, BASIS FOR MEDICAL ADVICE AND SHOULD IN NO WAY BE CONSIDERED A PART OF MEDICAL PRACTICE.

The content can be incorrect or incomplete: information Earlydoc provides arises from the combination of guidelines and medical data and answers of the user. The information can be incorrect because of wrongful use by the user due to misinterpretation of questions or answers or a fault in the data of Earlydoc. It is possible that in the medical community there new known facts or insights that are not present in The Content of Earlydoc. Never consider the information on Earlydoc (or on the internet in general) as a sole or absolute authoritative source of information about health or disease.

The Content of EarlyDoc is not a substitution for consulting a doctor: From a certain level, detailed medical knowledge cannot be conveyed to a wide range of readers in an understandable way. The texts can bring you some general knowledge and understanding, but they may never lead to a diagnosis or self prescribed treatment of – or related to – your personal medical complaints or situation. For this, you need to consult with your treating physician.

Don’t experiment with medications: never take any medication on your own initiative without a prescription from a recognized physician or recommendation from a pharmacist, with the exception of medication that is permitted as self-medication (over-the-counter). Also never change the dosage of medication prescribed to you. Ask advice from your doctor or pharmacist for this. The same goes for alternative medication. When you take over-the-counter medication, always read the instructions and never take them against the advice of your doctor. Earlydoc rejects any liability concerning medication or self-medication.

5. International access

At the moment Earlydoc is based on Dutch data and standards/guidelines. Earlydoc is accessible worldwide. We do not represent that the Content is suitable for use in any other country than The Netherlands.

Users that access Earlydoc outside of The Netherlands do so on their own initiative. Earlydoc is not responsible for adapting the Content so it adheres to the law of any other country, or the medical standards of any other country, than the Netherlands. Earlydoc is not responsible for the correct translation of the Content to other languages than Dutch.

6. Intellectual property

Door akkoord te gaan met deze Algemene Voorwaarden accepteert u dat de Content van Earlydoc wordt beschermd door auteursrecht. Verveelvoudiging of het opslaan van de Content in een geautomatiseerd gegevensbestand en/of openbaar maken in enige vorm of op enige wijze, hetzij elektronisch, mechanisch, door fotokopieën, opnamen of op enige andere manier zonder voorafgaande schriftelijke toestemming van Guidecase BV is verboden.

By accepting the terms of use you accept that Earlydocs Content is protected by copyright. Reproduction or storing the Content in an automated database and/or publishing in any form, either electronically, mechanically, through photocopies, recordings or in any other way, without explicit permission from Guidecase BV is forbidden.

7. Limitations of liability

The Content, which encompasses all information on Earlydoc, should not be considered medical advice, substitution of a consult with a doctor, or treatment by a doctor. The use of information on Earlydoc or any decisions you make on basis of it, is your own responsibility. Earlydoc tries very hard to create and maintain information and get it as complete and accurate as possible, but does not warrant accuracy, completeness and actuality of the information on Earlydoc. The information on Earlydoc is offered without any guarantee, therefore Earlydoc waves any liability for every use of Earlydoc or the information provided by it.

8. Security

Earlydoc does not guarantee that Earlydoc or the information provided by it is always available or functioning correctly. Earlydoc also does not guarantee that the servers, on which Earlydoc is made available, are free of viruses or other harmful elements. Earlydoc cannot be held responsible for any consequences resulting from this.
